We were about to pass a fish spa and we said ” let’s do it “. At the beginning it tickled so so so so so much! The fish swarmed our feet and my dad was too scared to do it! Then we got used to it. It was 60 Baht per person, $ 1.68 dollars.

Elephant🐘 Nature Park
When we went to Elephant 🐘 Nature Park we learned about elephants 🐘. The real life of an elephant 🐘 is when you want to see an elephant 🐘 at a circus the people who own the elephant 🐘 actually kill a young elephants 🐘 Mom and Dad and torture the young elephant 🐘,[ who and why would do that] sad 😭 isn’t it????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????????????? Elephant 🐘 Nature Park save elephants 🐘 from logging, including 1 elephant 🐘 that stepped on a landmine , and others that were saved from circuses, and other tourist attractions (such as riding elephants). If you want to save an elephant 🐘 and you have the money, do it!!!!!
Waterfalls and a Temple
On our first tour in Chang Mai we went to a popular Buddhist temple where we did prayers 🙏🏽and a Buddhist monk sprayed me with water 💦! Then we went to a beautiful waterfall 💦 that we had all to ourself! Then we went to a waterfall💦 that was very crowded, had 10 waterfalls in 1, and wasn’t as beautiful. A dog 🐶 followed us because we had fish 🐟 food 🍚! The tour guide raced 🏎me back on both tours and I won both of them! It was a hot ☀️day but very amazing 😉 and fun 😄!
High Tea
we had high tea at the Mandarin Oriental. Back in the days it was called the Oriental. It was very fancy! They gaves two sets with three plates on each. It looked like this, breakfast, then lunch, and finally desserts. On breakfast it looked like we had two scones, a type of bread, and fruitcake that we didn’t taste! On the two lunch plates we had a ham and cheese roll, a salmon sandwich, an egg salad sandwich, a cucumber roll, a spinach empanada roll, and an asparagus cream sheesh spread with gold leaf on top, that I ate. I ATE GOLD! On the dessert place we had a raspberry eclair, a key lime macaroon, a milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate chocolate dessert, a strawberry shortcake, and a cake that tasted like blueberry but was lime green. It was almost too fancy for me but very fun!

Bangkok,Thailand Day 1

The long tail boat ⛵️

A water 💦 monitor

The reclining Buddha

The flower 🌺 market
To start out the day,we ate breakfast ,then we saw our tour guide and got our things. Then we went to the Grand Palace where the king who recently died hosted events, and we took a tuk-tuk to the Grand Palace. There was long lines of Thai people dressed in black so they could pay respects to the king. Everyone really really liked the king.
After the Grand Palace we took a long tail boat, which is a very big canoe that has a [ literally] car engine with a propeller for power. We took the boat through the canals seeing birds 🐦,a water 💦 monitor ,and catfish that we fed bread 🍞. We had lunch at the tour guides,[named Or which means tadpole in Thai] food stand. The only thing that they served was Pad Thai, which is a very famous Thai dish, and it is very good. After lunch we went to the food market where we had egg 🍳 yolk desserts 🍨. Then we went to the vegtible market where of course were veggies but I didn’t know what the veggies were. Then we went to the flower 🌺 market where we got a big bracelet made out of flowers 🌺. Then we took a tuk-tuk to the hotel. It was a very hot tiring but we had fun!
Kalanggaman Island
On November 10 and 11 we went to Kalaggaman island. It was paradise!!!! We got to Kalanggaman island by boat and it took 1 hour to get to the island and a 3 hour drive to the boat place. It is a small island but beautiful! We camped on the beach too! The water was like bathtub water! I had a great time!

Resettlement Communities
The first community we went to was GMA, named after a TV 📺 station [all the communities are named after the donors]. I played soccer ⚽️ [not really a game] with my friends. I felt bad when I remembered when 1 of my best friends looked into my eyes 👀 and it was a baaaaaaaaaaaaad feeling. I wished that all people could be as fortunate as me. I am trying to find a way to help. My first step is to donate some of my money to clean some water tanks so they have clean water to drink.
HIGH PEAKS WE CAN HELP!
We can help by having a fundraiser to help clean all the water tanks at GMA. Each tank costs 1000 peso ($20) to clean, and the communities can’t afford it. More info to come.
The kids always were smiling, it was great and I want to help!!!!

The Streets of Tacloban
The streets of Tacloban are crazy! There are cars, jeepneys, and trikes everywhere. I have got to ride in all of them! A jeepney is a small bus and they are very colorful, and they started by converting old jeeps from WWII. Trikes are motorcycles that have seats so people can ride in them. Each ride costs about $0.20. Trying to cross the street is an adventure, especially because there are no stoplights!
My First Day Of Travels
We are going to Manila! I’m so excited. We are going to San Francisco first, then San Francisco to Taipei, and then Taipei to Manila. We spend the night in Manila, then the fly to Tacloban. I think I’ll be tired but I’ll be ready to see what’s going to happen!
