Mt. Nicholas Farm Experience

We got on the boat to the farm. It took about an hour to get to the station(that’s what they call a farm) with a stop to look at Bob’s Cove. The station was 100,000 acres, 40,000 hectares!!! It went up and over the mountain side.We met the guide at the dock. He was very friendly and funny (well to my parents and other adults). We saw a dog that was amazing!! It could jump about 2 meters!!!!! We went inside a gate and we watched Isabell the dog πŸ• herd 2 sheep πŸ‘ to the guide. The sheep were Merino sheep. Most of their wool went to Vietnam to be processed for Icebreaker. We met a lamb named Baaaaaby, then I got to feed it!! They took us to the Woolshed where we started and he shaved a sheep πŸ‘ for us. After that we went inside and had a Plowman’s lunch. A Plowman’s lunch is bread 🍞, tomato πŸ… butter/jelly and grapes πŸ‡ ( which wasn’t very big ). It was very interesting.
