Ha Long Bay Day 2

Today we went to a fishing ๐ŸŽฃ village and there was a floating school! It was a fishing village 2 years ago, but they relocated the people. I liked hanging out on the hammock near the crazy ๐Ÿ˜œ fish ๐Ÿก ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŸ.

We motored to the beach ๐ŸŒŠ and explored a cave that some people lived in! After that we had a BBQ ๐Ÿ— lunch on the beach ๐ŸŒŠ. It was very fun because I got to run ๐Ÿƒ on the beach ๐ŸŒŠ while they were talking after lunch ๐Ÿด.

We went kayaking next. I went with my dad in a double. This time it was longer so we stopped at a beach ๐ŸŒŠ. We made a 2016 drawing out of seashells! We barely did it in time! They were just about to leave when 1 of our best friends gave us a handful!

It was a very fun day but tiring!

Ha Long Bay

When we woke up we were very excited ๐Ÿ˜Š about our luxury cruise ๐Ÿšข. We had breakfast ๐Ÿณ and then our luxury van picked us up. We drove for 2 hours to a shopping place in the middle of nowhere where we had some time to stretch and buy food. We saw durian wafers and tried them. They tasted like a mix of stinky socks and vomit!

After that, we got back in the van and went to the cruise boat! It was very exciting to see the boat โ›ต๏ธ at first!

Then we went inside and our tour guide gave us a welcome and safety talk. Then we checked out our room and we switched rooms just so I could have my own room! Then we went kayaking but I fell down the stairs! I still went kayaking though.

After that we went squid ๐Ÿ™ fishing ๐ŸŽฃ but we had no luck. ย Then we went to dinner ๐Ÿด. Then we went to bed๐Ÿ›Œ. ย It was a amazing day!

Hanoi

When we landed in Hanoi we went to a British pub to get fish and chips for me because that’s the only thing that sounded good to me after I was sick. Then we went to bed. In the morning we woke up and mom went to cooking class while dad and I made bracelets. Then mom came home and we had lunch. After that we went to the Ethnology Museum where we went to the outdoor area where there were Vietnamese๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ณ tribe houses๐Ÿ  and then went inside and learned about Vietnamese family life and the role of a women in the war. The next day a college student who was practicing his English gave us a walking ๐Ÿšถtour around the french quarter and old quarter and the women’s museum.

Hanoi was very fun!

Tooey’s Birthday

At the end of November it was Tooey’s birthday (but we forgot her birth date)! We called her in the morning and wished her ย a big birthday! I miss her sneaking into my room at night and sleeping there, I miss her under the table watching if any food is going to be dropped off the table, I miss after walks Tooey and I would race me home from a certain point, I miss Tooey trying to run out of the bathroom because she hates baths but afterwards loves it because she’s clean.

Tooey is the best dog ever! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My Visit To The Fish Spa

We were about to pass a fish spa and we said ” let’s do it “. At the beginning it tickled so so so so so much! The fish swarmed our feet and my dad was too scared to do it! Then we got used to it. It was 60 Baht per person, $ 1.68 dollars.

Next time my dad will get a fish spa massage if we do!

Elephant๐Ÿ˜ Nature Park

When we went to Elephant ๐Ÿ˜ Nature Park we learned about elephants ๐Ÿ˜. The real life of an elephant ๐Ÿ˜ is when you want to see an elephant ๐Ÿ˜ at a circus the people who own the elephant ๐Ÿ˜ actually kill a young elephants ๐Ÿ˜  Mom and Dad and torture  the young elephant ๐Ÿ˜,[ who and why would do that] sad ๐Ÿ˜ญ isn’t it????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????????????? Elephant ๐Ÿ˜ Nature Park save elephants ๐Ÿ˜ from logging, including 1 elephant ๐Ÿ˜ that stepped on a landmine , and others that were saved from circuses, and other tourist attractions (such as riding elephants). If you want to save an elephant ๐Ÿ˜ and you have the money, do it!!!!!

Waterfalls and a Temple

On our first tour in Chang Mai we went to a popular Buddhist temple where we did prayers ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝand a Buddhist monk sprayed me with water ๐Ÿ’ฆ! Then we went to a beautiful waterfall ๐Ÿ’ฆ that we had all to ourself! Then we went to a waterfall๐Ÿ’ฆ that was very crowded, had 10 waterfalls in 1, and wasn’t as beautiful. A dog ๐Ÿถ followed us because we had fish ๐ŸŸ food ๐Ÿš! The tour guide raced ๐ŸŽme back on both tours and I won both of them! It was a hot โ˜€๏ธday but very amazing ๐Ÿ˜‰ and fun ๐Ÿ˜„!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

High Tea

we had high tea at the Mandarin Oriental. ย Back in the days it was called the Oriental. ย It was very fancy! ย They gaves two sets with three plates on each. ย It looked like this, breakfast, then lunch, and finally desserts. On breakfast it looked like we had two scones, a type of bread, and fruitcake that we didn’t taste! On the two lunch plates we had a ham and cheese roll, a salmon sandwich, an egg salad sandwich, a cucumber roll, a spinach empanada roll, and an asparagus cream sheesh spread with gold leaf on top, that I ate. ย I ATE GOLD! ย On the dessert place we had a raspberry eclair, a key lime macaroon, a milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate chocolate dessert, a strawberry shortcake, and a cake that tasted like blueberry but was lime green. ย It was almost too fancy for me but very fun!

The flower ๐ŸŒบ market

To start out the day,we ate breakfast ,then we saw our tour guide and got our things. Then we went to the Grand Palace where the king who recently died hosted events, and we took a tuk-tuk to the Grand Palace. There was long lines of Thai people dressed in black so they could pay respects to the king. Everyone really really liked the king.

After the Grand Palace we took a long tail boat, which is a very big canoe that has a [ literally] car engine with a propeller for power. We took the boat through the canals seeing birds ๐Ÿฆ,a water ๐Ÿ’ฆ monitor ,and catfish that we fed bread ๐Ÿž. We had lunch at the tour guides,[named Or which means tadpole in Thai] food stand. The only thing that they served was Pad Thai, which is a very famous Thai dish, and it is very good. After lunch we went to the food market where we had egg ๐Ÿณ yolk desserts ๐Ÿจ. Then we went to the vegtible market where of course were veggies but I didn’t know what the veggies were. Then we went to the flower ๐ŸŒบ market where we got a big bracelet made out of flowers ๐ŸŒบ. Then we took a tuk-tuk to the hotel. It was a very hot tiring but we had fun!

Kalanggaman Islandย

On November 10 and 11 we went to Kalaggaman island. It was paradise!!!! We got to Kalanggaman island by boat and it took 1 hour to get to the island and a 3 hour drive to the boat place. It is a small island but beautiful! We camped on the beach too! The water was like bathtub water! I had a great time!
